PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Senior Marketing Manager will provide strategic leadership for Orange Liberia’s B2C operations, which account for 86% of the company’s revenue. The role is responsible for developing value propositions that address the needs of various market segments, driving innovation, and expanding the portfolio of products and services, including voice, data, VAS, Business Intelligence, CBM, and devices. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in telecommunications and a proven track record of driving growth, profitability, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Marketing & Business Growth:

  • Develop and implement business strategies to increase market share and revenue across customer segments.
  • Lead the design and execution of go-to-market strategies from concept to execution.
  • Drive innovation to expand offerings in voice, data, devices, and digital services.
  • Oversee commercial OPEX and CAPEX planning for B2C operations.
    Digital Transformation & Customer Engagement:
  • Lead digital adoption among key segments, ensuring significant uptake of Max It and digital content.
  • Enhance customer experience and loyalty through innovative initiatives and continuous improvements.
  • Develop and streamline processes for CBM, product development, churn management, and customer experience.
    Customer Base Management (CBM):
  • Co-design and manage CBM activities internally and with external partners.
  • Analyze customer insights and market trends to optimize product portfolios and customer retention strategies.
  • Drive data-driven decision-making to improve segmentation, targeting, and personalized offerings.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Lead and motivate the B2C marketing team to deliver sales targets and exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate effectively with Sales, IT, Network, Legal, Finance, and Communication teams to ensure successful product launches and campaigns.
  • Partner with B2B, branding, and communication functions to drive integrated marketing initiatives.

Performance Management & Compliance:

  • Monitor performance metrics, providing regular insights and strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and uphold strong industry relationships.
  • Deliver accurate forecasting and budgeting for B2C operations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Statistics/Data Science (applied to marketing), or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role within telecommunications marketing (B2C focus).
  • Proven track record in customer base management (CBM) within the telecom sector.
  • Experience driving digital transformation initiatives in customer segments.
